Michael Melore

General Manager

Michael Melore has dedicated his life to hospitality, beginning his career at age 13 bussing tables and washing dishes before serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. After returning to the restaurant industry, he worked his way through every level of service, from server and bartender to restaurant leadership, earning his first General Manager role at just 25. 

Following leadership roles with Legal Sea Foods and Back Bay Restaurant Group, Michael joined The Palm, training in Atlantic City, Nashville, and Charlotte. He has proudly called The Palm Washington, D.C. home for more than 16 years, where he is known for his commitment to exceptional hospitality and guest service.

Melinda Rust

Sales & Events Manager

Melinda Rust has been part of the Palm–Landry's family for nine years, including five years as a server at The Palm Tysons and the past four years as Sales & Events Manager after gaining hotel leadership experience during the pandemic. With more than 25 years in the Washington, D.C. area, she combines extensive hospitality expertise with strong local relationships to create exceptional event experiences for her clients. 

A 2025 Sales Manager of the Year, Melinda is passionate about building meaningful connections and, outside of work, enjoys painting, drawing, and sewing. She believes there's nothing more rewarding than bringing people together to create lasting memories.

Christian Fuentes

Chef Christian Fuentes has built an accomplished culinary career through dedication, leadership, and a passion for excellence. A graduate of L'Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, Maryland, he joined The Palm in 2006 after beginning his career with Clyde's Restaurant Group. Throughout his tenure, he has held culinary leadership roles in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and New York, earning recognition for his operational expertise and commitment to quality.

Now leading the kitchen at The Palm Washington, D.C., Chef Fuentes brings more than two decades of culinary experience to the brand. In 2025, he was honored as The Palm's Chef of the Year, recognizing his outstanding leadership, mentorship, and contributions to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
